BRIAN SLATER ELECTED TO SUBURBAN WEST REALTORS ASSOCIATION BOARD
Phoenixville, PA 02/26/2011 -- Brian Slater, Associate Broker/Owner of Century 21 Norris-Valley Forge was recently elected to serve as a member of the 2011 Board of Directors of the Suburban West Realtors Association (SWRA). The membership of the SWRA is comprised of over 5000 individual members, in 600 plus offices, located throughout the Delaware Valley and Main Line.
The 2011 Installation was a special evening featuring good food, drinks and networking with fellow Realtors. The event at Aronomink Golf Club in Newtown Square was a great success culminating in the swearing-in ceremony of the 2011 Board of Directors. Brian’s co-workers, Michelle Bauer, Donna Peck, Dee McClimon, Jeanette Petrucelli, Suzanne Norris and Lynne Norris were all on hand to wish him luck.
Brian also serves as Chairman of Phoenixville HARB (Historic Architectural Review Board), is a Board Member for the Phoenixville Police Athletic League, and is President of The Mews at Valley Forge Home Owners Association.
Brian came to the U. S. in 1987 from Manchester, England to work at Penn Engineering in Danborough, PA. He left his engineering career behind after he met and married, Lynne Norris, to pursue success as a Realtor at Century 21 Norris-Valley Forge. In 2009, Brian and Lynne became part owners of the Company and both work diligently to provide the best possible service to clients through the Century 21 System.
Volunteering at the Colonial Theatre and coaching Soccer for the Radnor Boys Under 9 League are some of the ways he spends his free time.

Phoenixville, PA August 7, 2009 —Century 21 Norris-Valley Forge announces Jim Norris will step down as owner. Norris will remain with the company in the capacity of Associate Broker & Property Manager. Lynne Norris and Brian Slater, Associate Brokers, will join Suzanne Norris as owners of the 29-year old company and will continue to provide comprehensive real estate services in Phoenixville, Chester County, Montgomery County and the Main Line. "This purchase of Jim’s share by Brian and Lynne represents our renewed commitment to carry on in the tradition of the company that Jim and I started in 1980," stated Suzanne Norris.
